We make nightlife and culture safer spaces.
Our heartfelt mission is to shape these environments in a way that is accessible and mindful for as many people as possible. We support people in better integrating their experiences—both in cultural and psychedelic contexts. Sometimes, what’s needed is exactly the right thing at the right moment: calm, presence, and a safe harbor to arrive.
When people are able to settle and find stillness, it becomes easier for them to navigate challenging situations and learn from their experiences. This inner clarity ripples outward—into the cultural spaces they help create and shape.
That’s why we work on multiple levels directly at events.
Personally, by being there for people.
Holistically, by supporting them in making more conscious choices.
And practically, by offering concrete tips and tools to make events safer, more mindful, and more sustainable.
Our goal is a more conscious approach to culture, consumption, and how we relate to one another.
We do this through, among other things:
- PsyCare
- Safer Use & Harm Reduction
- Supporting organizers in creating more sustainable events
- Crew Care & Awareness
This is the softness we carry out into society.
The softness that begins within ourselves—within our own hearts, in how we relate, and within our team.

The foundation of our shared work is taking good care of ourselves and of one another.
Being aware of our own needs and sharing them within the group is at the heart of our connection and our work. Only in this way can we meet each other—and our guests—with openness, mindfulness, and sensitivity.
Of course, we don’t always succeed in this. That’s human, and we are aware of it. This awareness helps us remain kind and compassionate with each other, even when someone shuts down, withdraws, or needs space—and to continue seeing them as a valued part of our fluffy collective.
We are all on a journey to find a way of relating to closeness and distance that feels right for us. Acknowledging—to ourselves and to others—that we are learning along the way strengthens our trust and makes it possible to truly care for ourselves and for one another.
We want to work together on equal footing. This is only possible if we are aware of the power dynamics that naturally arise and take the time to reflect on them collectively.
Power can emerge, for example, through differences in available time and energy, through information held by only a few knowledge-bearers, or through how long someone has already been part of the project. Individually learned strategies for navigating groups and exerting influence can also contribute to imbalances. Power dynamics will always arise—what matters is how consciously we engage with them.
For a mindful and transparent approach to this:
- We share all group-relevant information in Telegram channels visible to everyone.
- There are designated awareness contacts.
- After the season, we hold a supervision session.
- We work sociocratically.
To get started within our Flausch structures, there’s an onboarding process to guide you and make you feel welcome.
Each of us assigns ourselves to a working group (WG). Take your time with this decision, considering both your personal superpowers and where support is currently needed. This creates a balanced mix of joy, skills, and needs.
Working groups send representatives to coordination circle meetings. In these co-circle meetings, the work of the individual groups comes together and is connected.
For our online meetings, we use a shared Zoom room:
https://uni-koeln.zoom.us/j/98916171692?pwd=a0hZWVFsLzZWZVNYd0Q0NGJYbHhrUT09
Feel free to say a quick hello and ask openly for an introduction. No one is expected to know or do everything right away.
Let the people in your working group welcome you and give you a little support until you find your place and your role. Settling in is allowed to take time.
We all share responsibility—both for ourselves and for our work. If you feel that another meeting would be useful, feel free to set up a poll with proposed dates. Equally important: if you can’t make it—because you’re tired or for any other reason—please let your working group know. That’s completely okay.
Need information? Ask within the relevant working group—and don’t hesitate to follow up if you don’t get a response. Sometimes a gentle reminder is all that’s needed.
Feeling a bit lost or is there another topic on your mind? No problem 🙂 That’s normal. You can find contacts for this in the working group “Trusted Contacts & Sociocracy Nerds.”.
For our collaboration, we use several Telegram groups with different focuses:
Flausch & Tüdel – Group Space
For background work such as organizational tasks and structural topics.
Moyn Flausch 2024
This is where the working groups around the Moyn Festival come together.
Mystic Creatures Flausch 2024
The shared space for all working groups related to the Mystic Creatures Festival.
Digital groups can sometimes make setting boundaries challenging—we all know this. It’s completely fine to actively read and contribute only in the working groups you participate in, as well as in the group “Important for Everyone”Everything else can be consciously left aside.
